The Indian Valley Fire Department provides fire protection and rescue services to the residents of Indian Valley. The Fire Department consists of volunteers overseen by a paid part-time Chief. There are 4 fire stations located strategically throughout the valley. The Fire Department is supported solely through property taxes and private donations.
Bob Orange is the fire chief for the Indian Valley Fire District. He oversees the fire stations in Greenville, Taylorsville, North Arm Indian Valley and Genesee.
There are volunteers in many places around Indian Valley and an agreement with Crescent Mills Fire to respond to each other's calls for service.
